URGENT: Burn Ban in Effect for Washington County

Due to extreme drought conditions, the State Fire Marshal has issued a burn ban for Washington County and surrounding areas. Reno Volunteer Fire Department urges residents to follow these safety measures:

  • No open burning: This includes leaves, brush, or debris.

  • Avoid outdoor flames: Including fireworks and campfires.

  • Properly dispose of cigarettes: Do not discard them outdoors.

  • Clear dry vegetation around your home to reduce wildfire risk.

  • Report any signs of smoke or fire immediately.

Stay safe, Reno! For more information, visit Drought.gov Ohio.
